What a dive.

With The Lizard in Hawaii, we've been talking about scuba diving. We're both certified divers, but haven't been diving in nearly 10 years. The last time we were diving together was the month before I got pregnant with Little Miss. Little Miss turns 9 next week, and gets her cast off the same day.

In any case, we've been talking about diving again. I dug out my dive log and reminisced about some of our last dives together. In 1998, The Lizard and I met up on Oahu in Hawaii and dove every day, sometimes twice or three times in a day while we were there together. We did Waimea Bay (the Maui Wreck and surge canyons), Shark's Cove and Three Tables. We saw sting rays, sea turtles, octopuses, shrimp and thousands of fish, including bunches of Moorish Idols. It was definitely a good time.

It will be nice to pick up diving again now that the kids are a bit older. If only we had unlimited time and money. Personally, I'd love to go back to the Gulf of Aqaba and dive off the coast of Jordan again. There's something to be said for bathtub warm water and unlimited visibility.
